🐉 D R A G O N ~ R I N G 🐉
The lovely client wanted a wrap around dragon ring and I managed to hunt down the inspiration ring the client sent me a picture of.
It was super cute but a very cheap metal and the client wanted it to be sterling silver with blue sapphire eyes 👀💙🐲
I dismantled the cheap ring and manipulated it so I could get a good sand cast of the head and tail with enough length that could be used towards the band.
These parts needed a lot of tidying up when they came out of the molds but it worked like a charm ✨
I then soldered the head and tail to a length of D wire and made sure the length would make a perfect ring size for the client 📏
Once the ring was in one piece I then set the blue sapphires as eyes, polished her up and bent around to form the ring ensuring the tail and head crossed each other perfectly.
Loved this request, and as if it wasn’t awesome enough- the client now wants a GOLD one 🤩!!! Eeeeek 🙌🏼 can’t wait to see how that one looks finished 😍
