There’s nothing I love more than coming home after six intense weeks working offshore and slipping straight back into a creative flow. It’s my favourite way to switch off and decompress.

I’ve spent the last few days tucked away in the workshop, making lots of new pieces and getting a head start on Christmas stock for online, in-store Barefoot & Wild and of course, a few festive markets.

All under the very watchful supervision of Ozzy… who I’m pretty sure has already claimed a few pieces for himself!

It feels good to be back at the bench.

It must be nearly that time of year again…

I’m on the lookout for lovely local Christmas markets for Trash Metal Jewellery! If you know of any festive markets, fairs or late-night events looking for stallholders in Cornwall, please send them my way.

Even better if you’re organising one, I’d love to hear from you!

When you remember you have free will and can make whatever the hell you want!!

She carries the moon in her heart and the ocean in her soul.

Hand carved Mother of Pearl, ocean tumbled glass and sterling silver, brought together beneath the same forces that shape the tides and pull at the stars.

This one’s for the wild hearted, the dreamers and the wanderers..

Today this one of its kind piece is heading off to its forever home..

The deep cobalt sea glass has spent years being shaped by the tide, while the foraged abalone shell flashes with iridescent colours reminiscent of sunlight dancing across the water. Paired with moonstone, a gem long associated with intuition, cycles and the pull of the moon, it felt only right that these elements should find their way into the same piece.

One of the hardest parts of making commissions is saying goodbye, but there’s something special about knowing a piece has been created for one person and one person alone. Thank you for trusting me to bring your vision to life..

Safe travels, little treasure. May you carry a little piece of the ocean wherever you go!

Hello, me again..

I’m still looking for someone to make my weird fish box idea come to life.. any tinkerers, fabricators, cabinet builders, or even magicians up for a challenge…?

I’m looking for someone local-ish (Cornwall ideally, but open to further afield) to help me turn some reclaimed commercial fishing boxes into lockable jewellery display cabinets…

The vision is somewhere between “museum specimen cabinet” and “washed up fishing gear”

Here’s my AI concept so you get where my brain is actually going with this! 🙈

Please feel free to tag people, message me directly or share this post if you know someone who would love a silly project like this.

Thanks in advance.

Hey, oh hi.. I’m still here! 👋

There’s something really special about turning your story into something you can treasure..

Mermaid’s tears… that perfect, soft ocean blue, worn smooth, shaped by time and now set in silver to be carried forever.

This was a commission using a customer’s own sea glass, I absolutely love it when you come to me with your own pieces and a vision, it makes everything that little bit more personal, a little bit more meaningful.

If you’ve got sea glass tucked away from a special place or memory, I’d love to create something with you..
