Some watches mean more because of the story behind them.
While on honeymoon with my wife in Ortigia, we wandered into a small vintage bazaar. Sitting in the window was one of the most striking watches I’d ever seen. I couldn’t stop looking at it, so my wife bought it for me as a reminder of our time there.
That watch stayed with me long after we came home and eventually became the inspiration for the Ortigia. It’s my way of paying tribute to a forgotten watch brand, but also to a really special time in our lives.
