ShopShabby I think I've always been creative. In 2008 after achieving a BTEC in Art and Design, I began exploring the art of jewellery making and fell in love with it.

As a child I was forever playing with things in my hands, fiddling with stuff that was broken, and making new creations as I moulded and explored whatever material I had be it metal, paper, wood or a wax candle! I love to use paper and fabric in my jewellery as the different textures and colours in them will create a unique item every time. It also enables me to do a lot of 'upcyclying' which is

good fun! After discovering the amazing style of 'Shabby Chic' there was no turning back for me! I love the beauty in this style and the colours and patterns can simply take my breath away! I currently live on the windy south coast of England with my lovely husband, and I love the community I have here with my church. My husband and I are the youth leaders of Lee Community Church and I hope that this business will bless us so much that we can continue to do the youth and community work that we love to do!

What is 'shabby chic'? Shabby chic is a form of interior design where furniture and furnishings are either chosen for their age and signs of wear and tear or new items are distressed to achieve the appearance of an antique. At the same time, a soft, minimalistic, and feminine feel is emphasized to differentiate it from regular vintage decor; hence the "chic" in the name.
