A little dream come true… 🔥
Today I’m showing off my very own custom coin.
Now, let me be clear — these are NOT perfect, but that was never the aim. What they are is hand poured and hand stamped the old-school way. No fancy machines, no mass production, just honest craftsmanship and character in every piece.
My journey with Joe started a while back when I was buying his jewellery, long before SJB Scottish Hand Poured Precious Metal was even a thing. I’ve always admired his work rate and dedication, so when he reached out to me with an idea he had brewing alongside a group of like-minded people, I jumped at the chance to be involved.
Fast forward to today, and here we are with my very own custom coin — something I never imagined I’d be able to say.
These can be made in 999 fine silver, 999 copper, and 925 silver, with each one being individually hand poured and hand stamped the traditional way.
This really is a dream come true for me, and I’m incredibly grateful to Joe for giving me the opportunity and for all the hard work he’s put into making it happen. It’s been amazing watching him take the leap and establish SJB Scottish Hand Poured Precious Metal this year, and I know there’s plenty more to come.
