Well, this is it. ONE MORE SLEEP!! 🥳🍂

I was going to take a lovely photo to mark the occasion, but between making jewellery, packing orders, getting everything ready for the website and generally running around like a headless chicken, that hasn’t quite happened! 😂

So here’s me, with my pjs on, exactly as I am, with a million things still going round in my head and a LOT of excitement!

My new MAKE & Me Autumn/Winter Collection is landing on the website later this week, and I’ve been desperate to show you properly!

Rich jewel tones, flashes of gold, hand-painted details, some familiar favourites and lots of brand-new pieces — all designed to bring a bit of colour to the darker days ahead 💜💚🩷

I think this might be one of my favourite collections yet, and seeing it all finally come together feels VERY exciting.

October is looking GOOD! 🍂✨

I’m out and about at some of my favourite markets this month, including Ilkley, Harrogate, Grassington, Halifax Piece Hall and four days at the Halloween Festival at York Parliament 🎃

There’s something about adding a little gold that changes everything! ✨

I’ve always loved colour, you know that! It makes me smile when I put it on, lifts any ordinary outfit and feels like a tiny bit of ME showing through.

But for this Autumn/Winter collection, I wanted to add something extra.

Gold 💛

Against those rich jewel tones, it catches the light beautifully. It makes the colours feel warmer, richer and just a little more special, which feels exactly right as we head into the darker months!

I don’t think jewellery has to be saved for best. Sometimes that little flash of gold on a grey Tuesday morning is exactly the point! Do you agree?

A little Autumn/Winter sneak peek for you… 👀🍂

The hand-painted collection is coming back, but now it’s in these beautiful jewel tones, the perfect way to add some rich colour to your wardrobe.

Each one is painted by hand, which means no two will ever be completely identical – tiny wearable pieces of art, made right here in Harrogate. ❤️

I’ve been working away behind the scenes getting the new collection ready and I’m SO excited for next week so I can finally show you everything!

The wait is almost over… 👀🍂

The MAKE & Me Autumn/Winter Collection is officially launching week beginning 5th October!

I’ve been making, painting, experimenting and getting everything ready behind the scenes, and I’m SO excited to finally show you the full collection.

Expect gorgeous autumn colours, returning favourites, hand-painted pieces and plenty of new designs to take you right through the colder months ✨

This photo was taken in August 2021 ❤️ I’d just done my second-ever market and used some of the money I’d made to buy myself some lovely tablecloths and a sign for my stall. At the time, that felt like a pretty big deal!

I was still teaching then. MAKE & Me was a hobby I loved, something creative that was mine, and something that was slowly helping me build my confidence again.

Fast forward five years and that little hobby has grown into a business I could never have imagined back then, and now I’ve been shortlisted for Mumblers’ Business Parent of the Year for the THIRD time 🥹

A friend asked me what I’d tell the Amy in this photo if I could go back and tell her just one thing… I’d say; “Believe in yourself, because one day you’ll be dreaming of something and the next year you’ll be living it” ❤️

MAKE & Me has grown alongside my family. There have been markets, school runs, late nights, orders packed around the kids and a LOT of figuring things out as I went along.

That’s why this particular award means so much to me.
