How is it Wednesday already?! I hope your day goes well. Yesterday was a mix of going out , then having paddling pool time as it came out sooo hot but I needed to wait in for parcel deliveries. My foredom arrived , my saw frame and all sorts of random goodies so I was in my studio starting to put the frame up for the foredom sr that it will hang from etc but then it was time to get the dinner on ( 5 hungry mouths to feed wait for no woman! ) so had to leave it half done so maybe tonight I will finish all that. I ordered a adjustable height stool which should come Friday as realised my one is not very comfy for students to sit on. Nearly set up then I can show you pics and im dying to make some pieces now I have more exciting tools to use! But family comes first. Last night I also took a evening dog walk and caught up with a friend via phone. Read some of my book and curled up with hubby and watched 2 poldark episodes we have started rewatching them. Today I think im taking my kids to the library as we have read most of our books so need to return and pick some new ones. A communal bedtime story at night in the sitting room works well so always nice to have new books to read them. Have been feeling a bit down the last couple of days dont know why?! But my mood has dipped quite low. I miss my dad alot ( he died in April last year ) and little things are getting to me. I got quite emotional watching poldark last night because my dad lived with us for a year in between selling his house and getting his new one and we would all watch it together. As soon as the music started I was a blubbering wreck haha. Its little things that sneak up on you. I also sometimes feel overwhelmed with biz stuff and what im trying to achieve , having self doubts whether im good enough. Poured so much time and money into what im trying to achieve and sometimes wonder if I will ever make it. Then as a mum of 4 im very overwhelmed at the min as they are all different stages and I wonder if im doing it all right and good enough. You get mum guilt whatever you do. So a little bit low but hopefully I will get my mojo back. Stop worrying about the world and AI...and start feeling good enough.

This comes on a sterling silver trace chain of 18 or 20 inches long.

I hope your Tuesday is amazing. I had a lovely day with my 4 kids yesterday we went out and about and it was sunny. When we got back we decided to sort through this gigantic tub i had in my shed. It was filled with hundreds of beads , bits of tangled chain, old charms etc from my time when i used to do more costume jewellery. I put my 1 yr old in the cot as obvs a choking hazard!! But my 4 yr old , 5 yr old and 8 yr old spent about 2 hrs with me sat on a rug in the sunshine pawing through all the beads etc and sorting it all out. Was fun. I got them a special pasty lunch and some choccy cake so they were well happy! Had a nice dinner, read them stories and put them all to bed but my 8 yr old stayed up late and helped me sort my studio. So once the bead box was out the way in another shed and my china plates ( i sometimes use broken china to make pendants with , they are pretty and unique) we had much more space to work with. We went through my whole studio , cleared it and started again. I now have a whole workspace my students can sit at and its alot better layout. I had a shelf with a tv on that I never watched so took that out , that left shelf space for my gemstones. I bought some cheap drawer storage things that stack so we sorted all my seaglass and gemstones into those. I put a old slow cooker in another gap we had created by moving and sorting things into the cupboards underneath for my pickle to go in. On the right hand side there was now room for my tumbler and my grinder. Im waiting for my foredom to turn up today , my saw and ball vice and some tool organisers to finish sorting it but im so pleased so far I have a workable space for my 1 to 1 tuition classes. So excited! Will show pics when everything is even more sorted but im surprised how much we got sorted. My 8 yr old daughter was absolutely amazing and took over most of the sorting seaglass and gemstones into colour order. I then gave her , her first lesson in cutting out shapes with the piercing saw. She sat where my students will sit and tested out the space. She cut a copper shape and next week we will do the next steps as I believe she is now ready to learn silversmithing! She loved it!
