Do you love vintage ? You might like this little number then. Those deep chestnut brown beads with fabulous dimples are a vintage find. Two gems. Entirely different colours and yet from the same family. They are both from the quartz family of stones. The purple is Amethyst and those divine pale green studs are Prasiolite. Two new copper cottages fresh from soldering and the pickle pot. Plenty of refining and polishing to be done, especially around the windows. Do you like the one with the steps up to the door ? That’s a new design and I’m chuffed with the wonky quirkiness of it.

A lovely little soldering job successfully managed today. See that nice little row of silver balls ? That is called granulation. Each little ball created individually and soldered to my pendant setting as decoration. The torch flame oxidizes the metal so I’ll pop this in to the pickle pot for a while to clean it all up.

When it’s all hot and sticky heavy and clunky jewelley is just going to feel wrong. These earrings are so light you’ll barely notice them. Perfect summer vibes too with those teeny pearls and tiny chips of pinky orange coral rescued years ago from old broken necklaces. Those lovely colours are suspended from a slender circle of silver. A one off pair of earrings designed to bring colour and movement without weight. I wouldn’t advise you wear them in the sea but they’ll look fab at the bar afterwards !
