“”Beware the Jabberwock, my son!
The jaws that bite, the claws that catch!
Beware the Jubjub bird, and shun
The frumious Bandersnatch!”
He took his vorpal sword in hand;
Long time the manxome foe he sought—
So rested he by the Tumtum tree
And stood awhile in thought.“
I was so excited for this prompt! I’ve always imagined the Jabberwocky as a cat like creature with horns, claw’s and dagger-like teeth. I love that the poem doesn’t give much of a description of the creature and leaves a lot up to imagination and interpretation of the reader.
