Well, that’s another craft market done and dusted for Highland Silver! 💚🦌

We’ve had a really good day, with lots of our handmade silver jewellery finding lovely new homes! ❤️

It was a little quieter than we’d hoped in terms of visitors, which was a shame, but we had some wonderful conversations, met some lovely people and received some fantastic feedback about our creations. That always means so much to us! 🥰

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped to chat, admired our work or treated themselves to something special. Every bit of support is genuinely appreciated.

And now we’re looking forward to our next outing!

We’re all set up at Longmore Community Hall for today’s Music & Market event! 🎶✨

We’ve brought along a fantastic selection of our handcrafted jewellery, all lovingly created from antique and vintage silver. From rings and earrings to pendants and statement bangles, every piece has its own little story to tell.

And of course, our famous profanity scale is here too! 🤣⭐️

✨ A little splash of colour from Highland Silver! ✨

Something a little different from the workshop this week! 💚💙🖤🩵

These beautiful, colourful pendants have been individually handcrafted from vintage enamelled silver gilt coffee bean spoons.

I’ve carefully reshaped each spoon to create a unique pendant, while retaining the original enamelled bowl and its little coffee bean detail. ☕❤️

I absolutely love how the vibrant enamel contrasts with the silver, and how each piece still carries a little reminder of its former life.

Four gorgeous colours, four individual creations, and each one given a completely new purpose!

🌿 A little progress from the Highland Silver workshop… 🌿

When I first started turning antique silver cutlery into jewellery, I never imagined I’d be attempting pieces like these!

Over the past few weeks I’ve been teaching myself new skills, experimenting with soldering, shaping silver and learning how to turn the ideas in my head into something I can actually make.

These two pieces are probably the best examples of how much I’ve been learning recently.

Both started life as antique silver spoons, but with a bit of imagination, plenty of experimenting, some new techniques and, naturally, a few choice words along the way, they’ve become something completely different.

Neither is perfect, and neither are my skills just yet, but that’s part of the journey. Every piece teaches me something new, and I’m beginning to discover what I can actually achieve with a bit of imagination and determination.

There’s something rather wonderful about taking silver that’s already lived one life and giving it another.

And I have to say, I’m pretty chuffed with both of these! ❤️🌸

One of my favourite things about working with antique silver is discovering just how much it can be transformed while still retaining its original character.

These two statement pendants are perfect examples. ❤️

Both have been individually handcrafted from reclaimed silver cutlery, using shaping, folding and texturing to create something completely different from their original purpose.

No two pieces are ever quite the same, and that’s exactly how I like it!

From forgotten silverware to beautiful, unique jewellery! ❤️

Fresh from the Highland Silver workshop, we have three stunning pairs of handcrafted earrings, each with its own history and character.

🌸 Sugar Tong Earrings – Created from the beautifully decorated ends of vintage silver sugar tongs, retaining their original intricate detailing.

🌿 1965 Celtic Spoon Earrings – Two completely different designs created from a set of decorative silver spoons dating back to 1965. One pair features the original spoon bowls and beautifully detailed handles, while the other showcases the intricate Celtic-inspired patterns.

Each pair has been carefully transformed by hand, preserving the craftsmanship of the original silverware while giving it a completely new purpose.
