Recent posts have documented the making of these notebooks using Italian hand-marbled paper that I bought 19 years ago....

After such a build up I'm relieved to say they turned out really well and will be on my stall this Saturday at the Spring Pop-up Market in Northfields W13.

They each have 96 pages of a beautifully thick and smooth 120gsm page paper that's a joy to write or draw on. Hopefully they'll go off to good homes!🤞🤞

I'ts going to be a great event and I'm looking forward to catching up with other local makers, artists and producers and their lovely wares. Very much hope to see you there too!

Just one week to go! I hope to see you at the Spring Pop-up Market organised by the splendid team.

It's on from 3-8pm so there's lots of time to do your Saturday errands and then pop along to see the latest line-up of local makers which, I'm beyond excited to report, this time includes very own micro-bakery . If you haven't tasted Flavia's amazing bread, buns, biscuits and other baked goodies I urge you to run, not walk, to find out for yourself why she is so popular.

In addition there will be ceramics, jewellery, prints, textiles, homewares, candles, vintage collectibles, candles and more ... so lots of fab ideas for unique, beautifully made gifts that would be perfect for Mother's Day.

Also, I will have some new products... one in particular is still being prototyped - swipe to see the new colourful lokta papers I've bought for the project.

It's definitely in the studio today. First job of the day was to match bookcloths to these three lovely hand marbled papers that I bought in Barcelona way back in 2005.

It's crazy how long I sometimes hold onto papers🙄... often I can't bear to cut them up, sometimes they hold special memories, other times it's about waiting for just the right project for them.

Anyways, the time has come for these to become notebooks, and I aim to have them finished for the Spring Pop-up maker's market in Northfields on 2 March. Swipe for all the details - save the date and do come visit my stall to see the finished articles - only 19 years in the making!😁

Coffee time was extra special this morning with these surprise gifts of aromatic coffee from my lovely friend .

I only have one cup of coffee a day so like to make it an occasion. Really love my perfectly sized cup by fellow local maker .pottery and I found a recipe online for these Chocolate Tahini Bites like the ones you get from . It all adds up to coffee time heaven.
