This weekend at the artisan market was truly wonderful. It was such a pleasure to be sharing everything that provides in courses and classes in their amazing studio. It is so much more than that, the tutors are inspiring, helpful and so skilled and the studio has an amazing vibe like no other I have been in and I hope I shared that this weekend.
From the moment I set up the table, I felt surrounded by creativity and warmth, and the easy rhythm of people who love handmade work. The flow of visitors was steady, and each conversation was easy.
I loved watching people pause, take something in their hands, and smile and talk about memories they had collecting seaglass. Past students stopped to share their previous course makes sharing how much they loved their class. I met fellow artisans who were generous with advice and laughter, and together we created the kind of atmosphere where everyone felt welcome just to say Hi.
By the end of the weekend, I felt tired in the best possible way— inspired, and grateful.
Today was a rest day to reflect about the new year coming up, how I hope to progress my little business, what do I want to learn in the next term in class. I love being inspired by the tutors and students alike. When people talk about doing something for you and mindfulness this is mine.
Tidying my workbench today for a little reset. I saw these little beauties and just had to have a little 'me' time. Seaglass will always be my thing!
