What the crow sees ~ Sterling silver locket…
What the crow sees locket ~ This one a place for keepsakes, mementos and tiny precious lost and found things. Handcut outta sterling silver sheet, the crow is recessed into the piece. The silver crow is oxidised - hues of blue and pink and black and and an orange glow where its heart was.
This piece reminds me of an old fashioned cameo locket…

Haven’t been out n about exhibiting for a long, long time so this feels extra special. Interactive arty/cradt pieces are my favourite and I’m a sucker for an automation so I’m so looking forward to opening night to see all the beautiful work by other makers. More on that later. Rings n things... feat. Lil bird ring holder from the amazing (I always, always get asked how much for these ring holders when I’ve been at shows 🤣) Signing off for the year with my last made to order piece... I’m so glad it was a feather ring - that pleases me greatly. It’s featured a lot over the year. Each one is drawn to a feather found... Slowly I’m building a collection of feathers. Even more happily the enamel recipe i accidentally made without a clue as to how I found 5 years later on the last full moon of this year. According to one of my lovely followers called the cold moon or the oak moon. Somehow it feels significant. Anyway musings over... Have a cracking old time whatever you’re doing... I’ve set up crafting corner and that’s me sorted for the duration. Thank you folks. Much love to you for helping keep my handmaking business going whatever the weather. See you in the new year x
