240 years, what a milestone 🎊
This week, we opened our doors to celebrate an incredible moment in Deakin & Francis history, marking 240 years of craftsmanship, creativity and family ownership.
It was a privilege to welcome friends, colleagues and talented tradespeople from across Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter, many of whom play a vital role in keeping traditional British craftsmanship alive today.
The event was made even more special by the presence of David Deakin, former Director and sixth-generation family member, whose passion and dedication has helped shape the business into what it is today. From 1786 to 2026, Deakin & Francis has remained proudly independent, family-owned and committed to creating exceptional pieces from the heart of the Jewellery Quarter.
To everyone who has been part of our journey over the past 240 years, thank you. Here’s to the next chapter.
