One of my biggest priorities when designing jewellery is the DETAILS. 🔍✨
Anyone who knows me well knows I can be a perfectionist, painfully so. Friends (lovingly, I think 🤨) mock me for measuring obsessively before hanging a picture, or for taking ten times longer to do something just to make it 2% better.
Sometimes it’s kind of annoying, particularly to myself, but I think it’s also one of the reasons I’m still so proud of, and in love with, every single piece I create. ♥️
It does however mean that starting a new collection can feel daunting. It’s a bit like setting out on a journey without really knowing where I’m going, only that it’ll take longer I expect and that somewhere along the way I will almost inevitably question everything (hello creative process 🙃).
I’m actually about halfway (?) through designing a new collection, but life has got in the way, and I definitely haven’t been dedicating the one or two days per wk to it that I promised myself I religiously would back in January, in the optimistic haze of 2026 goal setting. 🤦🏻♀️
All this to say… Good things are coming, they’re just taking their sweet time.
And I’m (trying to be) okay with that, because my priority has always been creating timeless pieces, that feel just as relevant now as they will in six months, a year, or ten years.
Giving designs the space and time they need always brings more clarity, and pushes them closer to becoming what they’re meant to be, and that is my priority above all else.
I have no idea when this next collection will be ready, or when it’ll be time to release it. But I do know that whenever that is, it’ll be worth the wait. 😊
