When I was a child, my grandad had orchards. And inside them, a rose garden. 🌹💐 Yellow, green, red, almost blue. Every one of them perfect. Except they weren’t. Some were covered in thorns. Some had barely any. No two were the same, and that’s what made them real.

I hadn’t thought about that garden in years. Then I saw the roses made by Gayle Gayle GuanSing , founder of GoldandStones GoldandStones by Gayle Guansing Petals that don’t match. Edges that ripple. Colour that sits where it wants to. They’re not copies of a rose. 🌹 They feel like they grew.

This week I’m seeing them in person at Milano Jewelry Week Milano Jewelry Week and I’ll share my pick with you.

Some brands sell jewelry. ThoSay ThoSay Fine Jewelry gives you a reminder to wear 🤍

I found a real sense of peace discovering Anamaria Chiorean’s Anna Maccieri Rossi ThoSay. It’s one of those rare brands built on purpose and storytelling, where every piece starts with a feeling, not a trend.

Her story began during lockdown. Anamaria stopped watching the news and made self-help videos instead. One woman commented: “Why do you shout sometimes?” That moment made her realise words aren’t enough. People need something they can hold.

What I love most:
✨ She designs from emotion first. As she says, emotions fade, and that’s why we need reminders.
🌲 Her NATURE collection comes from her childhood in the Romanian mountains. The Rays piece can be the sun or a snowflake, the two things that brought her joy as a child.

⚡ Collections like Dream, Nature and Power ON aren’t abstract. You instantly connect with what each piece means.

💛 The name comes from her son’s initials and means “to say.” In her words: we don’t need to explain ourselves, we just have to express.

ThoSay goes beyond jewelry, too. Through the ThoSay Loves community, they host podcasts where women share their stories, hold events like International Women’s Day, and organise photo shoots for women who aren’t models, so they can see how beautiful they are.

This is jewellery with a soul, and a reminder that the power is already in you. I can’t wait to discover more of her pieces, for her and for him 💛

⏳ 15 craftsmen spent over 1,000 hours making it, and it weighs just under two kilos
