It was wonderful to join friends and like-minded individuals at a beautiful garden party in celebration of the Real Housewives of London Season 2 finale, whilst supporting my dear friend . We had so much fun and lots of laughter.

Beyond the stylish outfits, riverside setting and occasion, what lingered most was the reminder of how essential levity is within a well-balanced life.

Laughter, in its purest form, is both grounding and elevating.
Psychologically, physically, and socially, it has the power to regulate the body, lighten the mind, and strengthen human connection.

Shared laughter reconnects us with playfulness, spontaneity, and presence - all vital ingredients for emotional wellbeing and authentic self-expression.

In both personal and professional spheres, the quality of our relationships remains paramount. For me, the foundations are unwavering: respect, trust, and loyalty - the quiet architecture of all enduring connection.

Surround yourself with positive energy, inspiring minds, and people who know how to both elevate and enjoy life.

Success, after all, is not only measured in achievement. It is also about the quality of the moments we share and the people with whom we share them.

A gentle reminder: life is not only to be built - it is also to be enjoyed. Life is too short..✨

Last week I had the pleasure of delivering a ‘Dressing For Confidence’ workshop presentation to Women In Tech, hosted by in collaboration with and / Women in Technology Community. It was an International Women’s Day event with the theme of ‘Give to Gain’.

When I asked the women to reflect on how they show up - how they dress, how they carry themselves, the conversation didn’t go to trends or influencers.

Instead something powerful happened. It went home.

Woman after woman shared how family values, mothers, grandmothers and cultural roots had shaped the way they dressed that very day.

But those early influences didn’t just guide them - they created invisible rules. What’s “appropriate.” Don’t draw attention. Fit in before you stand out.

Over time, those rules merged with something deeper: the need for external validation. The safe outfit. The toned-down version. Years spent dressing for everyone else’s confidence but their own.

The turning point? Understanding where your style choices actually come from. When you separate what’s yours from what was handed to you - that’s where real confidence begins.

Not in the mirror. Not in the compliment. In the knowing.

Your clothes told a story before you said a single word today. Do you know what story yours is telling?

Congratulations to every woman unlearning the rules and stepping into her own authority - one outfit at a time.
