Sometimes a new chapter begins not with a sketch, but with an encounter.

In Ho Chi Minh City, we met a master who has devoted years to reviving the nearly lost art of Vietnamese enamelwork. It was important for us not only to observe his work, but to experience the technique ourselves — slow, demanding, and almost unpredictable.

For Mikhail, that day became more than an introduction to a new craft. Enamel gave him a new material to explore — color that could become part of a fragmented form, its memory and its continuation.

This encounter inspired a new direction within Ruinism.

The first ring is already complete. It brings together fragments, countries, crafts, and stories — and has become perhaps the most unusual piece we have created so far.

Soon, we will reveal it in full.

Things don’t always go according to plan in the workshop. Sometimes, something happens at the very last stage, and you realize that the only right thing to do is start over.

Because every artifact that leaves our workshop should be something we are proud to put our name on.

Every link was first sculpted by hand in natural beeswax before becoming part of a unique composition of impressions gathered throughout our travels.

Inspired by the modular structure of ancient Etruscan belts, Fortuna takes its name from the Etruscan goddess of fortune. Its surface brings together fragments discovered across different countries and cultures—not to reconstruct the past, but to create something entirely new.

Handcrafted in sterling silver with volcanic oxidation and finished with a single natural Vietnamese pearl.

Something new, yet ancient.

Not an ornament, but its echo.

Inspired by the feeling of a ruined wall — a place where traces of history still remain despite time and erosion.

The texture feels architectural: a broken rhythm of patterns emerging through weathered silver. Handcrafted in sterling silver with volcanic oxidation and traces of gold, it feels less like something made, and more like an artifact once discovered.
