Her Majesty Queen Camilla wore the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland Tiara this evening at the State Banquet held at Windsor Castle in honour of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, Sultan of Oman. ​

The Girls of Great Britain and Ireland Tiara was created by Garrard in 1893 as a wedding gift for Queen Mary. Later gifted to Queen Elizabeth II in 1947, it became a defining jewel of her reign and an enduring symbol of royal heritage and craftsmanship.​

Catherine, Princess of Wales, wore the Lover’s Knot Tiara this evening at the State Banquet held at Windsor Castle in honour of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, Sultan of Oman. ​

An iconic creation by Garrard, the tiara was originally commissioned by Queen Mary in 1913 and later became closely associated with Diana, Princess of Wales. Set with diamonds and 19 swinging pearls, it remains one of the most recognisable pieces in the royal collection - passed down through generations as a symbol of continuity and royal identity.​
