The Ocean Ring - A gift to self ring for some huge milestones, a 40th bday and a DR title! Why not celebrate your own milestones?!

This client put full trust in my hands. I sourced the stones and metal for her and created this ring from scratch as she’s a repeat client whose existing gold I’ve already reimagined!

The ring combines gold and silver with diamonds, a sapphire, aquamarine and a London topaz. A beautiful sparkly combo which takes inspiration from the ocean.

This flat link necklace has a special detail on the clasp. A diamond charm! This remake was from a ring, it was a special ring as I designed it with my dad for my mom’s birthday 30 years ago!! (Swipe to the 3rd pic for the before)

The setting on the ring has worn down and the ring wasn’t really convenient anymore, but the diamond was still, of course, super special to my mom.

She loved my flat link necklace and wanted something made that incorporated her diamond and the necklace…

So here we go, the diamond from 30 years ago continues to sparkle, redesigned and repurposed.

I have one myself, which I don’t ever take off. Clients see it and want one… the difference between mine and theirs? The gold they’re made from.

A gift with meaning for a 20 year anniversary? DONE! ☑️

How can some earrings celebrate a marriage of 20 years and the 5 kids that built and completed their family? Like this…

A little pebble with 2 sparkling champagne diamonds, symbolises the couple.. surrounding them are their 5 children, each represented by a circle whose size is the diameter of each child’s current age.

I’m a sucker for a good jewellery story and this one does not disappoint!
My friend Debbie has a necklace that she loves and wears all the time. She got it from her grandmother, who was given it as a gift from Jaqueline Susann, author of Valley of the Dolls.

Debbie’s grandmother was her favourite person and she remembers teething on that necklace. Such a precious memory!
The jump ring connecting it to the chain was about to wear through and Debbie was afraid of wearing it in case it broke. So she asked for my help.
And me, being me, went on a deep dive about Jaqueline Susann… turns out, the “Key of Life” or Ankh was her signature symbol. She was always wearing an Ankh necklace or ring and even her book The Love Machine featured the symbol on its cover.
She had the Ankh necklace made for a number of people over the years, and the one she gave away to her best friend all those years ago is the one that showed up on my workbench. And it’s now back where it belongs, with Debbie in her cookie shop. 😍

KIND WORDS - Sometimes you meet clients in the loveliest way, this remake was for my wonderful doctor. I’m so glad that I could transform this jewellery for her as it was sentimental, but completely not her style. I gave her sparkles and she gave me my son! (She was my IVF Dr 🥰)
