Scribble lark is another name for a yellowhammer due to the scribble effect on their eggs. I decided to scribble ' A little bit of bread and no cheese' on the gorse twigs. It's just about visible if you look closely.

' A little bit of bread, and no cheese' is being exhibited at the gallery this Summer. The yellowhammer has sadly been put in the red list of birds so it's distinctive call is not so common. I have hidden these words on the gorse twigs, they are subtle!! One of four works I am exhibiting at this fantastic celebration of birds.
