Yet another example of an amazing artist’s hard work being stollen by a cheap and shoddy plagiarist! This sort of behaviour makes me so mad 😡 it really needs consequences- I’ve seen the ‘resin rip-offs’ and they couldn’t be more blatant!
Just shows how some people have a total lack of creativity, integrity and principles, that they can do this, make money out of it and think it’s ok! It’s never OK - it is NOT flattery, it’s THEFT!

Just purchased my E-copy!!!
I saved book 2 for my stay in hospital this week (2nd new knee) so can’t wait to finish book 2 and then dive straight into book 3! I’ve heard it’s a corker!!

Feeling a bit emotional - I was chuffed to bits that my Empty Calories cast glass sculpture was chosen for the Turner Contemporary Open Exhibition. What I didn’t know until the private view this evening, was that it was unanimously chosen by all the Age UK Thanet team for their room in the exhibition and it resonated with them so much, they gave it a special mention in their narrative on the wall. They saw something completely different to me, in it - something so important to their work in the community. This made me so proud because as an artist, all you want is for real people to see something in your work, of value. This was a very touching moment and it was amazing because I got to chat to 3 of the team who chose it, too - so so happy🥰 Thankyou 😘

At long last, the fabulous Benenden Art Show that was scheduled for April 2020 is happening THIS WEEKEND!!

I know it’s been a tough couple of years for everyone, but for artists, it’s literally wiped out every event and opportunity to show our art. So happy that face to face shows are back and we can display our work, chat with real people and see eachother too!!

Please if you have a couple of spare hours over the weekend, make a trip to the lovely village of Benenden in the Weald of Kent, and come and say hello.
There’s also refreshments and last time the bacon sarnies and the cakes were yummy! 🤪

Hoping to see some of you there! 🥰

After 3 postponements since April 2020, the Benenden Art Show is finally, definitely, really going ahead!! YAY!! Put it in your diary now and come and visit us at this delightful Art Show - we will all be soooooo pleased to see you!
