Great Northern Contemporary Craft & Art Fair Fair is under way, with over 200 makers from across the UK and an incredible variety of work .
The setting is very inspiring too. Victoria Baths is an iconic Grade II listed Edwardian public swimming pool building.
Thursday night’s private view and yesterday were very busy and full of lovely conversations.
We’re here for the rest of the weekend at stand B47.

We’re heading to Manchester next week!

From 15–18 October, we’ll be taking part in Great Northern Contemporary Craft & Art Fair at the beautiful Victoria Baths, alongside over 200 independent makers from across the UK.
It’s a lovely opportunity to discover contemporary craft, meet the people behind the work and see all sorts of things being made by hand.

One of our silver & gold Spoon rings, recently finished. 🥄 💎 ✨
This one was made as a commission, with a diamond set into the handle of an antique spoon, instead of the colourful stones we usually use.

For commissions, we’re happy to source a particular gemstone, or sometimes give an existing stone from an unworn piece of jewellery a new life.

Made in our studio in Machynlleth.

a special rabbit called Sunday.
Painted in layers of enamel onto the tiniest canvas, then set into a 18ct gold pendant.

A small portrait, and quite a lot of tiny brushwork. It was a fun commission made in our new studio in Machynlleth

Back in the studio after a busy weekend in Cardigan.

It was lovely to be part of Sarah James MBE and share our jewellery with so many people over the weekend.

Now it’s back to the bench, with new pieces taking shape.

One week to go!
We’re really looking forward to taking part in Sarah James MBE again, and this time it feels particularly special, it will be our first Craft Festival since moving to Wales and opening our new studio and gallery in Machynlleth.

Craft Festival brings together around 100 independent makers working across jewellery, ceramics, textiles, wood, glass, print and more.
