I remodelled my customer’s 9ct yellow gold rings and diamonds, giving them a whole new lease of life. 💛💎

To add a beautiful pop of colour, we introduced Swiss blue and sky blue topaz, creating a unique, one-of-a-kind piece that feels both timeless and completely personal. 💙

You may have seen plenty of marketing campaigns advertising ‘waterproof’ jewellery.

First of all, precious metals such as silver and gold are naturally waterproof. It’s when the water is mixed with chemicals such as chlorine or salt in sea water that can cause the metal to tarnish.

This marketed ‘waterproof’ jewellery is usually made from base metals such as brass or stainless steel and is PVD coated which gives the silver or gold colour. All types of metal plating will eventually wear away over time, revealing the bass metal underneath.

Jewellery sold online is often described as ‘gold’ or ‘silver’ but it’s only when you look into the materials a bass metal is mentioned. A good indicator whether the jewellery being sold is price.
