I'm developing a system for organising my various metals creations.
The down/upside is that we might have to order more Indian takeaways to deal with my "little pot" habit. 🤔
To translate these are all made from Prometheus Sunny Bronze clay. A lovely clay to work with and a gorgeous warm colour when finished.

It's another "Day" so here is the girl of the moment, out of puff, living her best life. Jennie the rescue, I'm hoping she has completely forgotten cage life and not having food regularly. Though she still eats like it's her last meal ❤️

I am determined that it will not be my nemesis! So after another disaster I am remaining positive.
Finally I have managed to sinter (this is the process of the metal particles in the clay binding together)
I can now see the colour is somewhat pewter-ish.
Obviously I have overdone it somewhat, the copper examples above show how much texture has disintegrated.
More clay drying and I will go again 🐦‍🔥
Somewhere in the middle lies the perfect firing schedule.🤞🏼

After a weekend of testing there is much to be positive about. 🙏🏼
The mould I made from an ammonite gives a different result than direct use of the ammonite and it's use can be perfected.
Prometheus Sunny Bronze clay is a lovely colour and I think will be better once it's had a trip around the tumbler.
The two stage firing schedule as recommended in the packaging has worked a dream.
My firing fork is sturdy enough to support the firing tin to put it into a hot kiln 🔥
Two stage firing is something I like to avoid as I'm not a fan of burns but this really wasn't too bad.

Now the distraction of Saturday is successfully dealt with 🏆❤️🏆Back to the studio.
