This modern art deco engagement ring is set with an outstanding asscher cut stone, on an under bezel frame, with north south east west talon claws securing the diamond and a double band ring design bringing the modern into the art deco design. We have redesigned this ring to make it wedding ring compatible, whilst maintaining the striking look of the ring.

The moment Matt contacted me I knew this was going to be a special bespoke ring commission.

We’re so blessed to have been part of Emma & Matt’s proposal journey to make this truly beautiful engagement ring. We sourced a stunning champaign oval diamond and crafted a bespoke yellow gold ring with rub over bezel setting with mill grain detail with shoulders flaring to the main stone and a hand engraved scrollwork design that worked beautifully with the overall theme.

Matt learned sign language to ask Emma’s deaf parents permission to marry her, he is such a sweet guy. As you can see from the clip they were delighted. He then whisked Emma off to Florence where he got down on one knee and made the most amazing proposal in what seemed to be the perfect day.

True story: we made this ring with Amy, who didn’t know when the ring would be ready. She was on her way to Paris with Jake and had no idea the ring had been made early so that he could propose to her right in front of the Eiffel Tower!
