Amber 🧡🐱
I have worked at Legacy Pets for 7 years this year, so I’m asked many times whether you “get used” to the kind of job I do. The short answer is, no. Every day is different, every pet is different and every family are different.
Some pets will just stay with you for any number of reasons. Amber will be one of those pets for me. She had gorgeous orange fur, perfect little toe beans and the cutest nose boop.
When I asked Ambers mum about her life, this is what she told me;
“Amber was honestly the most special little cat, she was so small but so incredibly smart and sassy - she could open doors, food packets or anything she put her mind to and was the most incredible hunter of sausages, chicken nuggets and other bizarre food items that she loved to bring home.
She'd always be shouting at us for attention, food, a warm spot to nap or anything else she felt like, and her favorite thing to do was investigate what you were doing so she could make sure she was involved (because obviously everything needs extra cat in it!) all while giving you the most enthusiastic washing you've ever had or trying to put her paw in your mouth while you were taking a nap.
She's honestly missed beyond words and the six years I had with her, honestly were not enough but I'm so thankful for the endless amounts of love and affection and we will hold her in our hearts forever.”
Charlotte - thank you for trusting me with your beautiful girl. 🩶✨
