I’m not sure there is much to add to this really. 😔 I am not ok. I have been diagnosed with ulcerative colitis and been in flare at some level between mild and severe since December. I am on my second course of high dose steroids since May and waiting for biologics 🤷🏻‍♀️. Tony continues to recover well from his cancer which is an absolute blessing and we are truly grateful but we both need to heal. Thank you to all you who have been on this journey with me. I am sad that things are paused but I simply don’t have the energy. I may be back but I don’t know when or how. Love to you all ❤️

So things are not 100% not even sure they are 75% but I wanted to try to get back to some jewellery. I am pleased to say I will be at this gorgeous makers market next Sunday. I look forward to seeing you all again ❤️

So. You may or may not know but I have a bit of a stationary thing. I love a notebook. A lot. With all the crap going on in my life over the last 4 months I have not had it in me to make jewellery. Bookbinding however is easier for me to concentrate on and I need something for my head. Something to relax with. Today I have made a long stitch journal.
I miss my Filofax in those halcyon pre digital days and this? Well this fills a little hole. I have cocked up the chain stitch a little but who cares. This is mine and I bloody love it. Learn Bookbinding

I have had a beautiful, chilled out day with my sister making our own books. This amazing kit is from and comes with clear instructions and the whole book took a very relaxed and lovely 6 hours to make. We could have gone quicker but why??? It’s been lovely@to spend time with my sister. We both have husbands with cancer and both work full time and have various challenges supporting them and keeping ourselves healthy and sane and this was simply lovely. We are doing it again.
