Something is coming to Morecambe Bay… and it’s closer than ever!

After months of work behind the scenes, we’re finally on the brink of launching our NEW Heysham and Silverdale models, alongside our refreshed website.

It’s been a journey of designing, refining, tweaking and making sure everything is just right. And now, we’re almost there.

Our new website is moments away from going live. 👀⌚️

With our new models ready to make their entrance and Christmas on the horizon, things are about to get very exciting at Morecambe Bay Watch Co. 🎄

A WATCH WITH A STORY TO TELL ⌚🦐🌊

It’s always great to see our watches becoming part of people’s stories, and this one is particularly special.

Mark, owner of X-Met Metals, recently gifted Nathan a Morecambe Bay Silverdale Obsidian as a token of appreciation for his six years of hard work and dedication to the business.

Nathan is now moving on to focus on new projects, and we’re proud that one of our watches has been chosen to mark such an important milestone and thank him for everything he’s contributed to the X-Met team.

A huge thank you to Mark for choosing Morecambe Bay Watch Co. for such a thoughtful gift. It means a lot to us as a small independent watch brand to see our watches being given for moments that genuinely matter.

𝙁𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙈𝙤𝙧𝙚𝙘𝙖𝙢𝙗𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙎𝙮𝙙𝙣𝙚𝙮. 🇬🇧🇦🇺

Sometimes, it’s the little stories that remind you just how far this journey has come.

One of our existing clients was recently in Sydney with his son, browsing watches at a local watch dealer.

While looking around, the dealer noticed the watch he was wearing and complimented him on it.

That watch just happened to be a Morecambe Bay Watch Co. ⌚️🌊

Our client explained the story behind the brand, where we’re from and what we’re trying to build with MBWC.

And that’s what makes this so special to us.

We’re a small independent watch brand born from a genuine connection to Morecambe Bay and the North of England — so to have one of our watches catch the eye of a watch dealer on the other side of the world is something we never take for granted.

We’re not a huge company. We don’t have a massive team or a huge marketing budget.

Just two guys with a love for watches, a connection to where we’re from, and a determination to build something we can be proud of.

Adam & Dan first met at school in the North West of England. Like many childhood friends, life eventually took us in different directions as careers, families and everyday life took over. Now, nearly 40 years old, we’ve come full circle.⁣
⁣
Everything changed when we lost one of our closest childhood friends, Sam, to depression.⁣
⁣
Sam’s family organised ‘SamFest’, a celebration of his life that brought our old friendship group back together. It was there that Adam & Dan reconnected, rebuilding a friendship that had quietly faded over the years.⁣
⁣
As we spent more time together, we realised we still shared the same passions—rugby league, a good pint of Guinness, and an ever-growing appreciation for watches.⁣
⁣
Then one day in March this year, Adam said (slightly tongue in cheek):⁣

“𝘔𝘢𝘵𝘦… 𝘐’𝘮 𝘨𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘢 𝘸𝘢𝘵𝘤𝘩…”⁣

What started as a passing comment quickly became a shared ambition.⁣
⁣
Alongside our busy careers and family lives, we developed a real passion for the world of watchmaking. We learned everything we could, refined every detail, built prototypes, made mistakes, improved them, and slowly turned an idea into reality. All this whilst continuing to focus on the careers and commitments that matter to us.⁣
⁣
Today, every Morecambe Bay Watch Co. watch is built locally at the bay with the same passion that started this journey. We believe in honest design, quality materials and creating watches that people will enjoy wearing for years to come.⁣

Every watch we create represents not only our love of watchmaking, but also the friendship that inspired it.⁣
⁣
