Simba and Norah are making sure our new roof is being installed properly! Very excited to have the solar panels fitted next week.

Due to my recent leg injuries I haven’t been able to sit comfortably and make the jewellery I wanted to make.

As only I can, I’ve had quite a spectacular fall and injured my knee and ankle. (MCL tear, meniscus tear and ligament damage!)

I’m hoping the swelling will keep going down so that I can get back to making some jewellery soon. Thankfully I can take the knee brace off when I’m sitting so I’ll be able to get comfy whilst doing what I love. ❤️

I’ve had a rotten virus recently and haven’t felt like making anything. Happily the paint brushes came out last night and I’ve started on some new pieces.

It’s another insomnia night so I’ve been sorting out pieces I’ll be working on in the next couple of days.
I’ve had a wonderful afternoon at the Bungay Christmas market (as a moocher, hopefully next year I’ll have a stall!) with some of my gorgeous school friends (and new friends) from a ridiculous amount of years ago. Whenever we’re together it feels like we’re still 14 and I’m so grateful they’re still in my life.

The icing on the cake was another jewellery maker asking me about my earrings and telling me she absolutely loved them. The cherry on top was a local business The Mayfair in Bungay asking about potentially stocking my jewellery. Today has definitely been a good day! 🎄❤️

And to top it off and make it even more glorious, my very lovely man drove out to pick me up (45 minutes away) and stopped to pick up pizza on the way back to mine so we could go home and watch Christmas films and not worry about cooking. Ruddy Muddy, you are an absolute legend and I’m so grateful I have you. ❤️

I’ve been trying out different ways of painting my wooden jewellery. I’m loving this textured finish in gold. It takes lots longer but it’s so satisfying!
