This little clay world is finally starting to come together! 👀🔥

I’m creating a series inspired by some of my favourite books, choosing a memorable moment from each one and turning it into a tiny clay scene.

This one is inspired by Dungeon Crawler Carl — and after a LOT of tiny pieces of clay, the dungeon is finally taking shape 😂

There are still two very important additions missing though…

Carl & Donut are next. 🐱👀
And yes, I’m going to attempt the heart boxers and pink Crocs 😂

I’ve given myself a slightly ridiculous new project… 😂📚

I’m turning some of my favourite books into tiny clay worlds, choosing one moment from each book to recreate in clay. And obviously, I had to start with Dungeon Crawler Carl 👀

This is only the beginning of this one — there’s still a LOT to add before it’s finished!

If you’ve read DCC… can you work out which scene I’m making yet? 👀

Apparently I can’t just have one hobby…

Before I decided to paint an entire wall, I was already slightly obsessed with making tiny things 😂

This little R was handmade from clay for Robyn, with her name running through the middle and lots of tiny details added around it. I love making pieces like this because every little bit can be completely different and personal to whoever it’s being made for. 🥹

I’ve been looking back at some of the clay pieces I’ve made and it’s made me really want to get my hands on it again… except this time I’ve got a slightly different idea. 👀📚

I’m thinking books + clay + tiny little worlds and I’m VERY excited about the first one I’ve got planned.

So I suppose this is your warning that Little Lantern might be about to get a little bit more chaotic 😂🌿

Okay… “cheated” might be a strong word 😂 but there was no way I was drawing this whole thing freehand!

I used a projector to get the design onto the wall and originally traced it in pencil. Once I started painting though, the pencil became really difficult to see, so I switched to a Posca pen for some of the details.

A friend who also paints murals has since suggested trying pastels instead — so that might be one for next time!

Be honest… does using a projector count as cheating? 😂

Turns out painting my first mural involved quite a lot of figuring things out as I went 😂🎨

I started off by buying completely the wrong paint 🤦‍♀️, switched to acrylics, mixed almost every colour myself and very quickly discovered that some paints cover MUCH better than others!

I definitely learned a lot along the way — and I already know there are things I’d do differently next time. 🌿

What else would you like to know about painting it? 👀

What started as a blank wall turned into a little Pembrokeshire-inspired coastal scene behind my desk 🌿🌊

Definitely the biggest thing I’ve ever painted… and I think I might be hooked 👀

Would you let me loose on one of your walls?

Meet the tiniest woodland wanderer 🦔💛
This little hedgehog (and his buzzing bee friend!) marks the start of something new for me.

I’ve spent the past few months quietly dreaming up a gentler, more magical space — where every piece tells a story and feels like a keepsake from another world.

I realised I wanted to make more than just pretty pieces; I wanted to make things that feel alive, that tell tiny stories and remind us to slow down and notice the magic in the small details.

I’m so excited (and a little nervous) to finally share what’s been growing behind the scenes — thank you for coming along on this journey with me 💛

Well… here we are ✨

A new chapter, a new name — Little Lantern 🕯️

I’ve poured my heart into creating something that feels like home: soft colours, tiny friends, and a sprinkle of woodland wonder 🌿🍓

Thank you for being here — it means the world 🤍
