Mad as a Box of Frogs Using scraps of fabric, buttons, beads and ribbon with a sprinkling of magic and imagination I make I have always been interested in arts and crafts.

mainly sewing. I love making little quirky things that make people smile. The silly and the whimsical. At the moment I am working in my friend's shop, the Healing Star in Causewayhead, Penzance, where my creations : Character Frogs, Scented Frogs, Herbal Sachets, Banners and Buntings are displayed and for sale. Because we are the local "Witchy" shop on the way out of town, not everyone realises th

at we sell other things appart from tarot cards, crystals and incense. You won't be turned into a frog in our shop, but you might fall in love with and buy a little lavender and rose filled scented frog, (or even a crocheted kitten made by my friend Maria). So here is my own on line shop window, at the moment for display, but soon for sale.......Enjoy

ALL WEREFROGS SUCCESSFULLY RE-HOMED!

This season's werefrog hatching have all found new homes. Here are some of the remaining frogs taking a well earned rest (and hoping for new homes themselves) before the next hatching arrives! Cute and furry they may be, but werefrogs can be very badly behaved, especially around the full moon.

Mad as a Box of Frogs has had to take a back seat to the main business of running the shop (The Healing Star) in the last year, but we have endured. Thanks to all my friends for their help encouragement and confidence in me...You can't keep a good frog down. xx

Changes to my other work life have meant that I have even less time to spend down at the frog farm. Mad as a Box of Frogs is still in business, just unable to take on any more commissions at the moment. While the shop is being cleaned and tidied, restocked and rearranged by the human workforce some members of the amphibian contingent can't resist larking about...

Amongst many other things today, I managed to re home a werefrog. I had a really good conversation with Caleb's new owner. He gave me some inspiration for another direction for the frog farm, which I hop I will have time to achieve. All in all a really good day today.
