Ferns 🌿

These ancient plants are currently unfurling in some areas, while in others, looking so full and beautifully green. I'll be making a whole host of pressed fern pieces ready for an upcoming artisan fair of which I'll tell you more about very soon.

You can catch me a week today at the funky .cornwall in Porthtowan where I'll be bringing my new olive and eucalyptus pieces along for a jolly.

Sunny Markets ☀️ 🌿

Yesterday was so beautiful in Porthleven! I met some of the most chilled out folk, from traders, public and tradies working near by! Thank you for stopping to see my ceramics glistening in the Cornish sunshine.

Seriously cannot thank you enough for trusting me with your special gifts for loved ones, some fabulous celebrations, to some more sombre ones... I truly appreciate and cherish you all. Huge thanks to the absolute babe and family for all of their welcoming help, cake and fresh salad! 💙

Tomorrow I'm back in my home town with on the Lemon Quay, so excited to see you!

Phwoarrrrr, Mother Nature has her sunhat and suncream on today! 🔥🔥🔥

Luckily I'm not firing until things cool a little... then, I have a lovely little load of beautiful Olive tree inspired pieces (to go with the Med vibe!) ready to bring to a few very lovely markets to kick off June!

Trivet Plate


You know when you just have an urge to do something in particular, well that was this trivet plate!

I knew I wanted an intricately executed piece that helped to order the early illuminated manuscript examples I'd been looking at in my head. I was inspired by their fine detailed boarders, bold and beautiful lettering and striking use of lustrous illustrations.

I hope this plate encapsulates those highlights and will be super happy in it's new home of which it found last weekend. ✨️🐍

Somehow I completely forgot to post a picture of this sgrafitto plate I made in March this year!

I love working in this way, drawing inspiration from various styles and mark making within pottery from thousands of years ago. This plate sees geometric work as noted in prehistoric Beaker Bell pottery, and ring and dot work commonly depicted by people from the Bronze Age right through to the Anglo-Saxons.

I must make some more pieces like this, using the form to help guide the way.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of showcasing my work amongst many talented ceramicists at

Their debut event was absolutely fantastic with amazing demos from raku to throwing. There was the opportunity to purchase clays and glazes all while browsing ceramics from a multi faceted selection of makers- if that wasn't enough our host could boast the mostest with a stunning setting!

out did themselves. Thank you for visiting me, the chats, the laughs, the new friends and the special sales (always makes me eeeeeeeekkk!)

Can't wait for next year!

These beauts will be joining me out on a little jolly to St.Ives this Sunday at

We will be bringing the world of ceramics together through a wonderful day celebrating all things clay. This is a perfect opportunity to meet an array of different ceramicists and chat to them about their practice!

Sgrafitto Saxon Plate 🍃

I LOVED making this plate, and now it's settled with it's new owner!

With it's Mid-Saxon pottery inspired boarder, to the Celtic swirl in the centre, each piece gets poured into and I'm so utterly grateful that you guys get it and support my work. Thank you!

They say that ceramics is the utmost rubbish because it will last thousands and thousands of years... I'm not entirely sure if that's something I'm proud of or not, however, surely it's got to be better than the store bought, conveyor-belt bu****it!

I'm off to ponder that some more!

After another double market this weekend, I'm back in the studio making ready for markets at the end of the month and into the summer! ☀️ I'll be having a little pop up display at the ever gorgeous for their seasonal opening! More on that soon ✨️

Sunday I'll be taking my wares to which is hosted by in beautiful St.Ives. They'll be so many talented makers there, many taking part in workshops any are very happy to talk to you all things ceramics!! Please head over and support us if you can to see an array of excellence in the world of clay!
