Taking a look through some past project photos for reference this morning and I found these samples of faux effect parquetry. These were used to demonstrate to a client how their flooring on a yacht could be (the flooring company were unable to make up actual wood samples in time for a client meeting!) so they asked us to paint them.
They were painted on a drafting film so they were easily transportable to the the shipyard in Germany and presented to the client. You can really only tell these are painted by the fact they are on a very thin sheet and if you look carefully you might be able to see the masking take we used to hold it down!!

We absolutely loved painting this mural for last summer at here in London. Theres lots of little Easter egg treasures to find in the mural. Designed in collaboration with the team at Ken Fulk and it was crazy times, painting the designs hot off the press almost in real time, but it was worth every moment, we had a lot of fun & a lot of laughs, thanks everyone for putting your trust in us to bring this beauty to life 🧑🏻‍🎨🖌️🎨We had the best garlic potatoes - amazing!!

👈🏻⬅️ swipe to see what we did to the lovely classic wallpaper from Cole and Son, their Nuvolette. It was pasted on these doors and then we painted in a lovely sky blue and it really makes the cloud burst. A gorgeous bathroom designed by the iconic Beata Heuman.

A nice little sample of a metallic effect using two techniques with a strié and stipple on alternating squares. The nap of the metallic gives a different sheen on the two effects creating texture and interest and making the two tone effect
