Vintage Hand Pendant
Beautiful vintage hand pendant with index finger and thumb pinched into an elegant pose. Wonderfully detailed, with realistic lines to the knuckles, finger joints and palm, giving the piece a lifelike appearance. The pendant has a brass base with a sterling silver coating, which remains in excellent condition overall. There is a small area of wear to the bail where the underlying brass can be seen, mentioned for accuracy only and not detracting from the overall appearance. Equally striking worn alone or layered with other necklaces.

Super collection of vintage sterling chains arrived yesterday ! ✨
All sorts of links, patterns and lengths, arriving in their uncleaned, unpolished state. But one of the joys of vintage silver is seeing the transformation. A little care, and these beauties go from dull and sleepy to wonderfully sparkly versions of their former selves. 💎
For today's clean-up, I used the old tin foil, boiling water and baking powder trick. The magic is actually a chemical reaction — the aluminium in the foil helps pull the tarnish (silver sulphide) away from the silver and transfers it to the foil, leaving the silver shining again. Science and sparkle in one! ⚗️✨
Vintage quality, timeless style, and now with that lovely shine restored. There's something so satisfying about bringing these pieces back to life. ❤️

Fantastic vintage sterling silver Mexican earrings featuring a wonderfully whimsical celestial design of a howling wolf nestled within a crescent moon, with a star above. The earrings are mirror images of one another, including the reverse stamp detail, although not exactly identical, displaying the lovely hand-punched variations that are so characteristic of handmade rather than mass-produced pieces.
With a total drop of 6.9 cm and crescent moons measuring 2.7 cm across, these are a striking statement pair. Together they weigh a substantial 16.1 grams and are marked to the reverse "Mexico", "TT35" and "95" for sterling silver.
Wonderfully evocative and full of artisan charm, these unusual earrings have a mystical, Southwestern feel. The subtle differences between the two pieces are exactly the kind of hand-finished detail that collectors of vintage Mexican silver appreciate.

A really fun piece with plenty of musical history behind it. At first glance this appears to be a spectacular sterling silver sun pendant, but a closer look at the top reveals the name Klaatu. This highly regarded Canadian progressive rock and pop trio was formed in Toronto in 1973 and became known for their Beatles-inspired sound. In 1977 they released Hope, an album recorded with the London Symphony Orchestra, and this pendant was produced featuring the same image used on the front cover of the album.

Beautifully made, the reverse is marked with a 1977 copyright, Klaatu and Sterling. The pendant has a lovely deep bail, making it suitable not only for a sterling silver chain but also for threading onto fine beads.
