The Yuvaan's Café & Restaurant recently opened in Sheffield to bring traditional Vietnamese home cooking to the city, inspired by the streets of Ho Chi Minh City — where owner Vy is from 🇻🇳

Almost everything is made in-house, including their freshly baked bánh mì baguettes, packed with delicious fillings like garlic butter chicken, lemongrass tofu and special red charsiu, topped with homemade sauces, pickles and fresh vegetables. 🥖

From noodle bowls and rice dishes to sizzling skillets, Vietnamese coffee and signature tiramisu, there’s plenty to try and taste ✨️

Sheffield is getting a brand-new Bonfire Night experience this November, and it’s set to be a big one🎆

Arcnight launches on 5th November at Don Valley Bowl, from the team behind the hugely successful Illuminate The Gardens events, which ran between 2017 and 2025.

The new event is bringing together everything Sheffield does best — its industrial heritage, creativity and love of a good night out, with a huge mix of fireworks, lasers, live entertainment and immersive experiences.

The global smash-hit musical MAMMA MIA! The Musical has landed at Sheffield’s Lyceum Theatre as part of its UK tour, and from the moment the first ABBA anthem kicks in, it’s clear this isn’t a show here to overcomplicate thing...it’s here to bring the fun.🕺

Set against the backdrop of a sun-soaked Greek island, the story follows Sophie, a bride-to-be determined to discover the identity of her father before her big day. Cue three surprise guests from mum Donna’s past, a whole lot of chaos, and plenty of ABBA magic. From Dancing Queen to Voulez-Vous, the soundtrack is packed with instant classics that have become part of our collective DNA. Try not to sing along… we dare you. 🎤

This fresh touring cast brings plenty of energy to the Lyceum stage. Sheffield, something loud is brewing... 🤘🍻

Rock giants DON BROCO have teamed up with Leeds-based Piglove Brewing Co to create two limited-edition beers inspired by their new album Nightmare Tripping — A collision of bold flavours, deep emotion and euphoria ⚡️

The UK launch kicks off right here in Sheffield at The Albion on Friday 14 August, where fans can be among the first to try the beers, meet the band, grab merch and soak up a proper beer-meets-music celebration 🎶

Tickets for the launch have already sold out, but the beers will be pouring exclusively at The Albion from Friday until the nationwide release on 21 August.

What happens when one of the world’s most famous mind-benders takes to the stage and tells you to question everything you think you know? You’ll have to see it for yourself… because we’re not giving anything away. 👀

Derren Brown has returned to the Lyceum Theatre in Sheffield with his brand-new show Only Human — blending psychological illusion, mind-reading, humour and thought-provoking observations about what it means to be human. Expect a fascinating (and sometimes unsettling) journey through perception and the blurry line between reality and illusion, with plenty of moments that’ll leave you wondering “how on earth did he do that?” 🤯

🍷 Happy Sheffield W**e Week! 🍷

Sheffield W**e Week is a city-wide celebration of all things w**e, with tastings, events and special offers taking place across some of Sheffield's best bars, restaurants and bottle shops all week, all culminating in W**e Week Fest @ Bole Hills tomorrow ✨️

Expect over 20 w**e vendors pouring by the glass, loads of incredible food traders, live music, family-friendly activities and one of the best views in the city. Think California w**e fair vibes... but with a proper Sheffield backdrop 🌳

Last year over 1,000 people headed up to Bole Hills, and this year's looking even bigger. The forecast's looking like another scorcher too, so whack on the sunscreen, grab your sunnies and get ready for an afternoon of sipping in the sunshine ☀️
