It seems Meta hasn't shown my last post to many of you as I've had several messages today asking why I'm not at the Metrocentre as usual 😔

I'm so sorry, I've had to reluctantly give this one a miss with everything we have going on, but I'm hoping to be back in my usual spot with my lovely The Crafters Roadshow friends next month and beyond!

In the meantime you can find a whole raft of super talented makers and artists including several new faces. They're there until the centre closes at 5PM tomorrow.

I can personally highly recommend the fudge from Ooh fudge and the alternative clothing and accessories from Metal.MC - I'm wearing one of her tees now in fact!

Don't miss Spirit Rocks, Sophie Photography, IcyBear Designs and Doreen's Gems and Country Companions while you're there!

Hello hello my lovely little magpies ✨

I have some news for you - I've reluctantly decided to miss this month's The Crafters Roadshow at the Metrocentre. You all know how much I love this event, but I need all of my energy for other important things right now, and I'm spinning too many plates.

Family and health come first, always. All being well, I'll be back there trading with my wonderful trader friends next month. A huge thank you to Team TCR for their understanding and support, as always.

By the way, thank you for the lovely messages since my post last week. I really appreciate your love and support at what I'll freely admit isn't the easiest of times for us, you're helping me to keep going.

After requests at last month's event from a lovely repeat customer of mine Olwyn, and others, I experimented with some alternative colour ways for my monstera leaf studs, as seen here. I'll make sure I have lots of them with me next month, but they'll probably make an appearance on my website before then. What other colours would you like to see?

Welcome, June! Yes, I'm a day late, but I care not a jot! I can't say I'm sad to see the back of May at all.

Huge thanks to everyone for your patience, understanding and support over the last few weeks; I know I have been terrible at answering messages, updating my website and socials and well, everything else too. As some of you who have spoken to me personally know, one of our close relatives is quite poorly at the moment so naturally my focus has been and still is on supporting them.

At present I'm still planning on attending this month's Crafters Roadshow at the Metrocentre, and starting to plan and prepare for Art in the Pen in Skipton in August too (did I actually tell you I'd been selected again? I can't remember!), but things may of course change.

In the meantime, my website is still open - incidentally, it's UK Small Business Week this week and you can claim free postage with the code SBW at checkout.

I'll try not to be such a recluse this month, promise!

Happy sunny Sunday! I drove to the MetroCentre in glorious sunshine under bright blue skies this morning, what a change from yesterday's watery journey!

You've been loving my copper cuffs and earrings this weekend. I've just put my last stock of both out now, I'm down to my last pair of aluminium earrings too. We're here until 5PM today then that's it here until The Crafters Roadshow returns in June.

Find us in Exhibition Square, outside of Primark. I'm in my usual spot in front of Muffin Break .

Hey magpies. How are we all on this dull and drenched Saturday?

We're well into day 3 of The Crafters Roadshow here at the Metrocentre in Gateshead and it's full of lovely people who have come to shop - and/or escape the weather!

With a plethora of small business owners selling their products, including handmade fudge from Ooh fudge, photographic prints and gifts from Sophie Photography, candles and wax melts from Border Candles, alternative clothing and accessories from Metal.MC and of course my own contemporary artisan jewellery, there's plenty to choose from if you're looking to treat yourself or someone special!

You can find me and all of the other rather fabulous traders here in Exhibition Square until 7PM this evening and then back for one last day from 11AM to 5PM tomorrow.

I'm in my usual spot outside of Muffin Break 😊

I'm back at the Metrocentre in Gateshead from this Thursday the 7th to Sunday the 10th of May with The Crafters Roadshow.

You can find us in our usual space in Exhibition Square where the Blue and Yellow Malls meet Platinum Mall - the easiest way to find us is to head to Primark. I'll be there in my regular spot under the TV screen, outside of Muffin Break.

We're there from 9AM to 9PM Thursday and Friday, 9AM to 7PM Saturday and 11AM to 5PM on Sunday.

As always, I will be bringing a curated selection of my designs with me to fit the smaller display space, so please do let me know if there's anything in particular you're looking for.

If you've been wondering why I have less 'off the shelf' silver jewellery on offer at the Metrocentre events lately, THIS is why. Hard times and hard decisions for us small businesses at the moment.

Luckily for me, my aluminium and copper jewellery have always been more popular with my customers both in person and online, but even the cost of those is rising much faster than it used to.

And of course, while made to order for my silver jewellery works fine on my website, if I don't have any with me at my events, you can't buy it! It's a conundrum for sure 😖
