Looking forward to getting the latest edition to my collection on the bench, 1989 Casio CA-55.

It's not in bad condition for It's age but I'm sure I can get it looking much better.

I have put a new genuine strap on it for the time being, but will look to remove the scratches from the case, the glass and also around the keyboard.

Will make a great addition to my collection.

Love it or hate it, you can get some nice bargains on Vinted.

Bought this bundle just for the Casio AQ-462 with Module 388 from 1989. Close to mint condition.

Not a particularly valuable watch but still worth way more than what I paid.

Plus I can easily sell the other watches, they only needed batteries.

Casio G-Shock G-8900A-4

I didn't think I'd like the Gloss red at first but I actually like it a lot.

The negative display is excellent, the gold text is very readable and with the auto-light enabled I've not had any instance where I've not been able to read the time etc.

Released in 2011, and this was purchased in 2012, the previous owner didn't like the gloss finish much so it went back in its box and in a drawer until now.

Nice win for me and a bargain for £36, I also have a little bit more colour for my G-Shock collection 🤣

Had this beauty delivered today, wasn't due for another few days but I'm not complaining.

Casio DW-291HX-5AV

Just under £40 from Amazon including shipping from the US. If you don't have one then I'd definitely recommend adding it to your list.

It's incredibly well built, nice clear display and very comfortable to wear. A desirable piece for any collector.

Enjoy whats left of the weekend, back to normality tomorrow.

Afternoon everyone

Todays watch of choice is one of my favourite Wave Ceptor watches that I own. The WVA-109HDU-2BV

It has a sriking blue dial that looks great when the light catches it, large indices that illuminate and an excellent electro luminescent backlight. As you'd expect from a Wave Ceptor it always keeps excellent time too.

I'm a massive fan of Ana-Digi watches and always on the lookout for my next one 🤩

Afternoon everyone.

Here's my Casio B820 with module 224 from 1984....... 3 years younger than me 😂.

It's not the oldest watch I have but its my favourite one.

I still need to spend a little more time polishing it to remove all the little scratches that still remain but it's getting there.

What's your old but gold watch?

Took a bit of time getting it looking like this but it was time well spent. Still a bit more time needed to get it looking perfect but its getting there.
