2025 was the year of the oval and what a stunning choice it turned out to be.
Elegant, timeless, and offering incredible sparkle for its size, the oval cut truly gives you more *brilliance for your buck*.

Looking ahead to 2026, the marquise cut is set to make its mark.

Oh what a lovey pear you have!

If you are a bit of a diamond nerd like me I can tell you that this diamond on the GIA certificate comes up “excellent” on both polish and symmetry with no fluorescence. The ratio (proportions) for the length to width is nearly spot on perfect…but that’s always a bit subjective when buying a pear shaped diamond but I will always try to buy them as close to 1.45-1.55 .

Next week I will show you where it’s going.

The smaller diamonds flanking the center were repurposed from the client’s original ring, while the central stone is a lab-grown diamond selected by the client.

Choosing a lab-grown diamond over a mined alternative allowed us to achieve a beautiful result while remaining significantly more cost effective
