Pushed on through and it’s finished, ready for the family to collect.

The tail includes 2 sapphire and 9ct gold rings. Felt uncomfortable dismantling them but the family wanted them included.

Other personal treasures are the little blue bird silver earring in the front leg, a silver snake ring for the eye, the topaz cluster in the rear blue leg and some pretty purple dress jewellery incorporated into the ear along with the bindis on the trunk.
Feel privileged to have been asked to work on this meaningful elephant.,🐘

Took all the ear work off from yesterday and changed the size and position, worked on this all day.

It’s almost finished and feels like a big responsibility as it’s a memorial piece, including the treasure of two lost people.

Forced to stop for now but will try and get it finished by the end of the week.

This mess can only mean one thing….

I finally started a project (one very close to my heart)
It’s very slow progress and I’m going to have to dismantle and redo the ear, I don’t like the positioning of it, it needs to follow the circle I’ve drawn on my silicone mat more.

A little insight to the commissions procedure.....

Clients photo, my sketch and the final outcome. I can only apologise that this has taken me 14 months from order to completion due to my nerve damage.

Next is a ballerina ...

Last week I finally had the two medical procedures I've been waiting for.

I'm already feeling the benefit and I've finally been able to start my back orders.. this little dog is almost finished.

Two painted and ready to start sticking.. limiting myself to a little at a time.

Heard from the hospital that I'm now on an urgent list for a denervation procedure which was going to be a 52 week wait!
