For anyone local to North Staffordshire, I'm taking part in this exhibition if you fancy a look. I made a "functional chocolate teapot" out of ceramics. Reflecting on thoughts and feelings while dealing with mental health problems and trauma over the past few years.

Hello all! I am back from an extended break in the middle of nowhere in Scotland and am well rested and back to working. Yay!

I have just updated the website with these ceramic pieces, all are on clearance or prototype and priced to sell. 3 sold before I wrote this so check the pictures to be sure.

Mari Lwyds and mini pots -

My very first stoneware firing at home - results. Definitely wouldn't do pendants in these glazes again. The oxide and underglaze ones okay though (the matte ones). I'll probably do all Mari Lwyds in earthenware next time so glaze is more predictable and use colours.

I love the mini pots though! Would do in stoneware in those again!

Hi everyone. Happy Equinox to all who celebrate!
I'm slowly updating the website with some new bits, I'll let you all know when they're all up (I have another 8 pieces to write up). Apologies that it's taken so long, unfortunately life has thrown me and my family another curve ball to deal with.

To cut a long story short, 3 weeks ago we found out my husband has a little brain tumour, a colloid cyst. While it's benign and small, it might actually be in a place where it can be life-threatening. So we're due more testing, and a real possibility of him having open brain surgery - and all the recovery that will bring.

Personally, it knocked me for six. My mental health wasn't good before and this news hasn't helped. So for now I'll only be creating when it brings me joy, still selling it, but listings may be sporadic.

I really had hoped to start getting back to normal with my artwork and my business (I don't work any other job) after supporting my mother-in-law with her end-of-life care last year. But obviously it wasn't meant to be.

CLEARANCE!!!!

Sorry there has been radio silence from me again. To cut a long story short, life decided to throw us another curve ball. It's been taking up a lot of emotional energy and I had none to work. Stuff is still ongoing, so things are going to be fairly sporadic for a bit. And there was me planning on getting back to normal. 🙄

Anyway. Today I photoed & listed a few clearance bits that I just want rid - the link will be in the bio.
