Castle Jewellers is looking for two motivated apprentices to join our growing team in the heart of Carlisle.
This is a fantastic opportunity to build a career in the jewellery industry while gaining valuable experience in a busy retail environment.
✨ What you’ll be doing: • Welcoming and assisting customers
• Learning about gold, silver, diamonds and watches
• Assisting with jewellery and watch sales
• Taking in jewellery and watches for repair
• Helping with stock presentation and merchandising
• Learning about jewellery care and customer service
• Supporting the day-to-day running of the shop
• Helping create content for Facebook, Instagram and TikTok
📱 Social media skills are desirable, but full training will be provided.

Castle Jewellers – Carlisle
Castle Jewellers is looking for an experienced, confident and customer-focused Part-Time Manager to join our team.
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of an independent jewellery business with extensive experience within the jewellery industry.
We're looking for someone who can take responsibility for the shop when required and ensure our customers receive an exceptional level of service.
✨ The role will include:
• Managing the shop and team during your shifts
• Delivering excellent customer service
• Jewellery and watch sales
• Cash handling and till management
• Opening and closing procedures
• Maintaining high standards of presentation
• Supporting stock management
• Handling customer enquiries and resolving issues
• Supporting jewellery and watch repairs
• Helping train and develop junior members of the team
• Supporting our social media and promotional activity
The ideal candidate will be:
✔ Experienced in retail management or jewellery retail
✔ Confident and professional
✔ An excellent communicator
✔ Highly organised and reliable
✔ Customer-focused
✔ Comfortable working independently
✔ Able to lead and motivate a small team
✔ Well presented with a professional manner
Jewellery experience would be highly desirable, although candidates with strong retail management experience will also be considered.
