A year ago today, I handed back my laptop and phone and walked away from the security of a career I had spent 22 years building.
It was one of the biggest and most frightening decisions I’ve ever made.
What started as a hobby, created from my own grief and a desire to preserve precious memories, became my full-time job.
Twelve months later, I can honestly say it was the best decision I ever made.
I’ve had the privilege of meeting some truly incredible people. People who have trusted me with their loved one’s ashes, funeral flowers, wedding bouquets, pet fur, breast milk, and so many treasured memories. Every piece I create carries a story, and I never take that trust for granted.
This past year has brought opportunities I never imagined, awards, partnerships, nominations, and most importantly, the chance to help others hold their loved ones close.
To every customer who has chosen me, recommended me, shared my posts, or simply supported my little business, thank you. You have helped turn a dream into reality.
Flor’all Eternity was built in memory of my amazing Mum, and I hope she’d be incredibly proud of how far it’s come.
Here’s to the next chapter, and to continuing to create the most precious gifts in the world.
