I wanted to iintroduce you to a recent diversion from my seeds/pods kick….. footprints in the butter.
A client asked me make her a necklace to complement strings and a brooch she bought from me years ago from a show I was part of.
It seems to me that the room is absolutely full to bursting with elephants at he moment, so it seemed inappropriate diversion.
I struggled a bit with the brief- I didn’t want to end up with polka dots- not quite my thing- but I’m very happy with this resolution!
Even better, I feel like my fizzy bottle has been shaken, and I’m al charged up to create! It’s flatter than I usually work, but that may change…

A little bit late posting here:
This weekend I’m a guest at venue 8 of pentland open studios. I know, I do t live or work on that side of town- I’m a grateful guest of , along with who’s showing some paintings and dyed textiles.
Jennie’s is close to the cafe in Colinton park (where they have the larks and the art and the bark’s) so you can get some sustenance after visiting us, and continue up the trail!
