I was originally going to write a bit of a sad post about how all my Mabon and Autumn Equinox plans completely flew out the window because I’ve been so poorly, but as I sat with it I realised that how I’m spending this week so far is just as valid.

Instead of whatever elaborate things I thought I “should” be doing, I ended up completely surrendering to what my body needed. I rested. I had a bit ( a lot) of a cry. I made myself a nourishing broth. I cut right back to the absolute basics, prioritised my peace, and actually leaned on my family and friends for support.And honestly? That is the equinox. It’s exactly what autumn is about—shedding expectations, turning inward, and learning how to receive support.

My body didn’t make me miss the season; it just forced me to live it in the most honest way possible.Sometimes the best ritual is just dropping your leaves and letting yourself rest.

Yesterday was National Fox day, I didn’t get a chance to post but I thought it is the perfect opportunity to share a photo of our Rocket fox with you all 🖤

The fox that came to us in a time of need, for food, love and medicine and became a treasured companion, The fox that had been seen as an message during spiritual healing and the fox that now lives on in my logo and my heart.

Simmer Spell Sunday!

Last Thursday evening my original Simmer Spell Bar had another little outing at the Pause Events Mabon Edition.

I love Simmer spells, I think they speak and connect with my kitchen & Hedge witch heart.

Simmer spells beautifully blend all four elements into one cozy, mindful ritual, you have water as the base, earth in the botanical ingredients, fire from your hob or candle, and air through the rising aromatic steam. They fill your entire home with warmth, make it smell incredible, and bring so much magic and intention into your space.

I also feel that you get double the magic, as once you have finished simmering, you can strain the ingredients and use the water for multiple spell work practices.

Welcome September 🤎

A month in which to concentrate on Hearth & Home, releasing clutter both physically and spiritually, and to prepare for the winter months ahead. A time to recognise your Abundance and practice Gratitude for all you have.
