Looks like Charlie’s done his research… 🦜🏆

Out of everywhere he could perch, he chose our sign proudly declaring us Scotland’s Best Independent Retailer 2026. We’d like to think that’s his official seal of approval! 😄

Charlie (and his feathered friend Chester) popped in today with their lovely owners, Spider and Ann, and completely stole the show. Thank you for bringing them in to brighten everyone’s day—it was a visit we won’t forget!

The Good Luck Wishers
As they head for the door, they turn back with a smile:

Ah… thank you!
We’ll take all the luck we can get.

It’s just the way it’s said…
Like we’ve opened last Tuesday.
Like the paint’s still drying and we’re nervously waiting for our first ever sale.

Meanwhile… nearly 5 years in 😄

But genuinely — we do appreciate it.
If a bit of extra luck helps keep the doors open, we’ll gladly take it!

Well… this doesn’t happen every day! 🦜

Today we had two very special visitors to the shop… Charlie and Chester! 💚

These beautiful parrots popped in with their owners, Spider and Ann, and of course we couldn’t resist getting a few photos with them!

Thanks for bringing them in to brighten everyone’s day – they definitely turned a few heads! 🦜✨
