Hiya everyone 🥹 I just wanted to say thank you SO much to anyone who purchased earrings over the weekend 😭❤️ this was an extremely small shop launch for me, as any longtime followers will know that my restocks are usually much larger, but I wanted to take my time and create meaningful pieces for you all and I must admit this is one of my favourite earring collections yet 🥹 I am so thankful for your support. I mentioned in my stories yesterday that I was a bit nervous since my posts have only been reaching a small amount of people so I was really conscious that this restock would be missed, but im so glad that it wasn't. Thank you for every like, follow, repost, comment, purchase or reaction. Each one means the world to me and each one helps! Even if its not something you're interested in, by engaging in my posts in any way, you are helping me to reach everyone, and for that i am forever thankful ❤️ I will never be as grateful as I am for all of you 🫶❤️ and I cant wait to create more one of a kind pieces for you all. 🫶❤️

Just a little post for anybody who missed it last night, I will be re-opening my etsy store TOMORROW at 2pm BST 🌼 I am so excited to show you what ive been working on 🥹 ive spent this morning photographing some of the pieces that will be released and wanted to share a little sneak peak with you! Hiya everyone! Im so sorry... I may have disappeared for a little while again... but I promise im still here and dreaming up so many new ideas for one of a kind pieces 🥹 life has been so busy lately & its hard to find time to create, but im determined to make a start this weekend!

I have an exciting announcement to share and im going to be re-opening my Etsy store on Sunday 2nd August at 2pm! ✨️

There will be a small batch of earrings available to purchase and ill be posting more of them over the weekend 🫶 I am so proud of these pieces. They are slow made, with so much love poured into each piece and I really hope you all love them. 🤎

Its been a busy week so far! I've been working hard on some more pieces, all are completely different and I'm so happy with them 🥰 as a lot of you know I've always had a huge love for gemstones & crystals and they have always played a big part in the influence of my work, its one of my favourite techniques to implement and I've got such a variety of colours coming. I will at some point be updating my etsy shop, im trying to get a bit more stock ready before doing so, so please bare with me! Hiya everyone 🫶 its been a couple of days and I haven't really created much, its been a busy week but I am brainstorming constantly with what to create next, I have so many ideas swirling around my head and cant wait to execute them, but I am trying hard to limit myself so I dont do too much and burn myself out creatively. I am taking a lot of pride in my jewellery being slow made & in small limited batches and this is making me fall in love with creating jewellery all over again ❤️ I just wanted to thank you all for all the love since I've been active again, it doesnt go unnoticed and I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for all of you ❤️ thank you so much from the bottom of my heart. I have already posted this pic on my story but im so obsessed with these earrings that I couldn't resist posting them again 😍 theyre like shiny little ocean gemstones and I love them so much! ✨️

A labour of love - these handainted earrings have been an idea of mine that has been laying dormant for a long time! Inspired by love of all things bohemian and botanical - I feel like these embody my personality to a T 🥹. I took inspiration for these earrings from terracotta plant pots and had so much fun handpainting very single tiny little detail. When I studied my foundation diploma (12 years ago now) I created some oil paintings inspired by mindfulness and mandalas. These felt very mandala like when I was painting them - ultimate relaxation & completely serene, it was so soothing 😍 and I am so obsessed with the outcome, this is just one of the styles that have come from this tiny little batch and im excited to share the rest with you all 🥹❤️ I hope you love them! 🫶✨️

Today I've been busy experimenting with new ideas. Soft, dreamy & ethereal - so many words sprung to mind when making these earrings. These are the first earrings I have made since I started playing with my jewellery supplies again 🥹 and I absolutely love them. A lot of you will know that I adore opal & use it in the majority of my pieces, I'm not sure what it is that makes me fall in love with it but it almost makes me feel tranquil. These earrings feel very harmonious and I tried my best to create a stacked and balanced look 🌙. When you have spent so long not creating, it can almost feel a bit daunting getting back into it, but I didnt feel that way at all. I purchased a few new beads and tried to pick ones that felt like me, ones that I could be inspired by and before I knew it these earrings had sprung to life ✨️ they are like little celestial ocean gems, I hope you love them as much as I do 🫶

Hi everyone 🫶 it really has been a while...

Some of you may have noticed over the past few weeks that I've been a bit more active on this account. This hasn't been for nothing, I'm happy to officially say that Clay & Carnations is back 🥹.

For a long time now I have been planning my return & reopening my small business and I couldn't be more excited to be creating for you all again ✨️ and I can't wait to share with you what's to come.

In the meantime, I wanted to share with you a few little things that have kept me busy. Last year, I attended my first market, this was definitely surreal seeing my work on display on a stall, it was a bit of a pinch me moment 💖. My creative juices have been flowing still, just in different ways. I picked up my paintbrush again for the first time in a while and have been creating some prints for around my home.

I have also been very busy baking. This last year I have made 2 baby shower cakes😮and I had the best time doing it. 🎂

My knitting needles have been out, you can see my little piggy modeling a baby hat that I made as a gift. I also learnt a new skill - crochet and I'm absolutely loving creating wearable pieces. I'm also in the process of a granny square blanket but we wont talk about that as I (may) be procrastinating finishing it.🙃

My earring supplies are finally moved into my new home and my spare room is now a perfect little sanctuary for creating ✨️ and I am loving every moment 💖.

Thank you all so much for sticking around, those who have been there since the beginning, those who are silent watchers, those who purchase and those who just support me in any way they can, all of it matters. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I cant wait to start sharing new pieces with you all again soon ✨️
