Miskie needs a name!

I'm blaming Wol for the creation of this wee warrior, he's been reading the Redwall books to the wol-lets.

Still got to make her maille shirt, but my fingers are threatening to fall off and I've got jump rings before the eyes; shaping this right is by far the fiddliest bit of maille I've done. But I love her.

Join us for our first Junk Jewellery and Accessories workshop of 2024!

Tuesday 28th May - 2-4pm (that's in half term here 😉)

We'll be creating jewellery and accessories from unloved, broken and scrap pieces. Turn trash into treasure with us! Learn how to make repairs and craft beautiful items from 'junk'. All tools and materials provided (but feel free to bring your own too). What you make will be very much a combination of the available scrap and where you want to take it with your creativity.

Suitable for 8yrs+ (ages 12 years and under will need an accompanying adult because we'll be using tools).

Create a gift for someone or craft something for yourself, whilst learning techniques to create from materials that otherwise might go to landfill.

£20 over 12yrs
£18 under 12yrs (needs an adult)
£1 for 1 adult accompanying under 12's

As always at our workshops PAs/carers attend free

We have additional foam grips for tools if you need them. Please contact us if you have any other access needs.

The Artery is wheelchair accessible (Fran is a wheelchair user). There are accessible toilet and kitchen facilities. The front door in is level access. Tea, coffee, squash and biscuits will be provided.
