⚫➡️🔵 Super Clone Transformation 🔵➡️⚫

This Rolex Submariner Super Clone came into Watch Mod Creations wearing the classic black bezel, but the customer wanted to completely change the look.
We swapped the black bezel insert for a striking blue version, giving the watch a much fresher appearance while keeping the original black dial.
It’s surprising how much difference one change can make — from understated black to a much bolder blue finish. 👌⌚

Another Super Clone upgrade completed and ready to head back to its owner.

Another water-damaged watch saved. 💧⌚

This one came in after suffering water ingress, which had made its way into the movement and caused corrosion and damage internally. Once water gets inside a watch, it doesn’t take long for rust to start attacking the steel components, springs and contacts — and in this case, replacing the movement was the most sensible option.
The old movement was removed, the case and internal components were carefully checked and cleaned, and a new replacement movement was fitted before everything was reassembled and tested.
A good example of why it’s worth getting a watch looked at quickly if you notice condensation under the crystal or suspect water has got inside — the sooner it’s dealt with, the better the chance of limiting the damage.

Another custom build finished and ready to go. 👌

This one is an NH35 automatic build, put together completely to the customer’s own specification, featuring a COMEX-style dial with that classic vintage diver look.
He’s been a very good customer of Watch Mod Creations for a number of years now and, over that time, has also become a genuine friend of the page, so it’s always a pleasure putting something together for him.
He knew exactly what he wanted with this one — the black bezel, gilt-style hands and markers, and the distinctive red COMEX dial detail all work really well together.
Powered by the tried-and-tested Seiko NH35 automatic movement, it’s a great example of how a customer’s own ideas can be turned into something completely individual.

🔧 A watch with a bit of a story behind it…

This Nixon automatic came in looking like it had reached the end of the road. The crystal was completely smashed, the 2 o’clock marker was missing, and even the seconds hand had disappeared.
What made it especially worth saving was the story behind it. It had originally been given as an 18th birthday present, but unfortunately it was badly damaged not long afterwards. Thinking there was no real way back for it, it was put away in a drawer and left there for years.
Fast forward to now, and it’s been brought back to life. 🙌
A replacement crystal was fitted, the missing dial marker and seconds hand were sorted, everything was carefully cleaned up and reassembled, and the watch is finally back together and wearable again.
Jobs like this are exactly why it’s always worth asking before giving up on a damaged watch. Sometimes even something that looks beyond saving can be brought back.

Rolex Deepsea clone in for repair 🔧⌚

This one has a bit more of a story behind it. The owner had already been turned away by several jewellers, but the watch has sentimental value, so giving up on it wasn’t really an option.
It came in with a fault on the automatic winding system, so we stripped the movement down, repaired the winding issue and gave it a full service while it was apart.

Not every watch has to be worth a fortune to be worth repairing. Sometimes the sentimental value is far more important.

A lovely Jaeger-LeCoultre in today with a couple of issues that needed sorting.
The automatic winding system wasn’t doing its job properly, meaning the movement wasn’t being wound as it should from normal wrist movement. We stripped down the relevant parts, checked everything over and got the automatic winding functioning correctly again.
We also noticed the date change was happening at around 11pm rather than midnight. The hands were removed and reset in the correct relationship to the movement’s date-change point, so the date now changes where it should.
All reassembled, tested and running nicely again. ⌚🔧
Another one saved without replacing parts unnecessarily.
