I never imagined I would fall in love with grey agate. Grey was never a colour I felt drawn to, but these large, polished stones changed my mind.

I couldn’t resist pairing them with vintage white agate embellished with crystals and a crystal-adorned clasp. And so our Cashmere Necklace was born.

I first met Luna together with Luca in their beautiful workshop in Venice. It was a rainy afternoon, but the moment I stepped inside, everything felt warm, calm and welcoming.

We began talking about glass beads and how they are made, and I immediately felt at home.

Luna came from a family of glassmakers—both her mother and father worked with glass—and she carried this Venetian tradition in her hands. But she also brought something entirely her own: gentleness, lightness and artistry.

Luna made some of our most beautiful glass beads. Her latest work was a documentary with Andrea Longhin about the art of glassmaking, a beautiful reflection of her passion and dedication to this tradition.
The whole KP team feels very fortunate to have known her and to have worked with her.

We are deeply saddened by her loss. She was far too young.

Our heartfelt condolences go to her partner, Luca; her mother and father, Liliana and Paolo; and the entire community of glassmakers in Venice.
