Like ancient goddesses and timeless muses, inspiration arrives in a pile of photos saved in my phone, from movies I have loved, from black and white photos in old books. I cannot explain the process and it does not really need explanation: it is just a process.

Galaxidi is a quiet village, it flourished during the 18th and 19th centuries as one of Greece’s most important maritime centers, with a large merchant fleet. You can see and sometimes visit the “kapetanospita” (captain’s houses) in its narrow streets. A weekend is enough to explore its rich seafaring heritage through its small museums, churches, and maritime traditions.

It is a 2,5 hour drive from Athens. The drive through the slopes of Mount Parnassus offers breathtaking views of rugged mountains, olive groves, and picturesque villages nestled among the peaks. Along the way, stop at Delphi to explore one of ancient Greece’s most revered sanctuaries, once home to the famous Oracle. Then you will continue to admire driving through the historic olive grove of Amphissa.

Not so touristy, we think that Galaxidi is a perfect destination for June. Also, it is the place of .agios.nikolaos where adults with and without disabilities live under the same roof, becoming an integral part of Galaxidi’s community.

I love to share with you the process of creating a collection. First, I have various ideas which I draw or note in a sketchbook. My sacred book which I always carry with me, just in case something hits my mind.
Finding my stones is a lonely process, a nice trip where everything is beautiful- even train delays- I always feel in your company though… why? Because subconsciously I do not choose only for me…I always have all you beautiful women on my mind and I think that this is part of the beauty of those little trips.
